Help us make history and show South Florida it is safe to take the streets and race as we once did.\nWhat is the Fort Lauderdale 5000?\nA 5K is made up of 5000 meters, 3.1 miles, 16368 feet, or 196416 inches. However you want to measure it, you are still running the same distance. The only difference is some people will run that distance faster than you.
