DESCRIPTION:\n\nAn electrifying day for a worthy cause! The 1st Annual Run NoMi Run, is one of the most anticipated events in the City of North Miami, with an expected participation of around 500 participants, along with many spectators, volunteers, and members of the media. Participants will engage in this fun family event to be active and to shine their light in the community for those in need. The event will feature a health & wellness fair, active/passive athletic activity, healthy food options, fun, and much more. We are bringing the community together for an inspirational 5K run/walk to positively impact the community by creating awareness and support for youths seeking higher education through the support of North Miami Educational Foundation, Inc. (NMEFI).\nThe North Miami Educational Foundation, Inc. (NMEFI) was established in 2012 as a non-profit organization, through which scholarships would be made available to support high school graduates in their pursuit of post-secondary education. As part of its mission, NMEFI aims to make higher education and learning a reality for North Miami students who need an opportunity to attend college.\n\n\n \n\n
