DESCRIPTION:45th Annual Tamarac Turkey Trot 5K Run\nThursday “Thanksgiving Morning” November 27, 2025 at 7:30 a.m.\n \nLOCATION\nTamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88th Ave. (Pine Island Rd.) Tamarac, FL 33321\nI-95 to Cypress Creek Road or Turnpike to Commercial Blvd., west to Pine Island Road, then north 1/2 mile or Sawgrass Expressway to Commercial Blvd., east to Pine Island Road, then north for 1 1/2 miles.\nParking\nParking is located behind City Hall until lot is full and in the shopping plaza located on the corner of Pine Island Rd. and McNab. Rd.\n \nTIME\n5K Run Begins at 7:30 a.m.\n \nENTRY FEES\nParticipants will receive a commemorative medal and t-shirt (Shirts are available in youth medium, youth large and adult sizes).\nRegistration Fees:\nEarly Bird (until October 30th): $30\nRegistration (October 31st– November 17th): $35\nLate Registration (November 18th – November 26th or till SELL OUT): $40\n(Registration closes when race sells out)\n \nNO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!!\n \nTamarac City Hall\n7525 NW 88th Avenue\nTamarac, FL 33321\n \nREGISTRATION\nRegister at www.runsignup.com\nOn-line registration closes at 12:00 p.m. on Nov. 26th or when race sells out.\n \nPACKET PICK-UP\nNovember 24th, 25th & 26th from 4-8 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center\n8601 W. Commercial Blvd., Tamarac, FL 33351\n(954) 597-3620\n \nRACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP\nPacket pick up begins at 6:30 a.m. at Tamarac City Hall.\n \nAGE DIVISIONS\nMale/Female – 9 & under, 10 – 12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49,\n50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.\n \nAWARDS\nTrophies to first overall three finishers based\non Gun Time.  Trophies to first, second and third place\nage group winners. Age group winners based on Net Time.\nAwards will be presented at Tamarac City Hall after the\nrace.\n \n \nT-SHIRTS & FINISHER MEDALS\nCommemorative T-shirts guaranteed to the first 2000 registered. T-shirts or sizes are not\nguaranteed on day of race. All finishers wearing a race bib will receive a medal.\n \nWATER STATIONS\nPlease take advantage of the fluid stations at approximately the first and second mile markers.\n \nREFRESHMENTS\nThere will be a variety of food and refreshments for all race participants following the race.\n \nSTROLLERS\nParticipants running or walking with strollers, please wait to go through the start line after all the runners go through.\nMEDICAL EMERGENCIES\nA medical team will be on call.  Staff at each fluid station will be in contact with the medical team.\nPlease inform them if you or any other runner on the course needs assistance.\n \nCHRONO-TRACK TIMING SYSTEM\nRace is on a Chrono-Track Timing System.  Chip is disposable and recyclable.\n \nCOURSE\n5K (3.1 miles) – USATF Certified\nCourse is flat and fast with many corners through the Woodmont area of Tamarac.\nRace Route: Race starts at 77th St. on Pine Island Road, east on 75th, north on 80th, loops back to Pine Island Road, then south to finish line at City Hall.\n \nSupport for the Parks and Recreation Foundation of Tamarac\nDonations will benefit the Parks and Recreation Foundation of Tamarac and will be used to provide funding for youth program grants, scholarships, park equipment and recreation events.  If you would like to make a donation, please indicate the amount while registering.\n \nIT’S NOT JUST A PLACE TO JOG.\nIT’S YOUR COMMUNITY.\nIT STARTS IN PARKS!\n\n
